Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was simple and fridge was unexpectedly a nice size. Dog-friendly area with bags for easy cleanup. Even though the room was not up-to-date, it did what we needed: provided a less expensive way to explore the Porcupine Mountains. I suggest bringing your own bedding and towels/wash cloths. We did, and I was grateful to have thought ahead.

The price was right for Timberline Lodge - just needed an affordable bed to sleep on, a roof over our heads, and a hot shower after a long day of adventure. Jennifer, the owner, went above and beyond, and we are beyond grateful for her kindness and local adventure suggestions :)

We were so late getting in - it was one of those days. Staff was kind, understanding, and let us check in at a ridiculous hour.

Lovely room in a great location. Good value and very clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. I booked for 2 nights but added another. Plenty to do.

The staff was friendly and the room was pretty good. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Easy to get in and out of my room. Very nice and simple checkout with zero hassle.

Loved the owner, Jennifer, awesome personality, with alot on their hands for being an owner for only 2 months after if was shut down for 8 yrs! I will visit again and longer, she gave me awesome tips on a great place for dinner and to get to a secluded spot on lake superior for rock hunting.
